Slack Users Page

The users page provides a high-level overview on the status as well as statistics of users, both internal and external. You can search for users that may violate corporate policy.

Tip

You can refresh the page by clicking the refresh icon beside the instance name of the app.

This page contains a table showing username, user type, two-factor authentication (team only), channels, files with violations, messages with violations, and total files information.

The Users page allows you to search for specific users and files using filters. To use the search filters, click + ADD FILTER to apply one or more of these filters:

  • User Name: Find partial or complete user name.

    Note

To search users in a domain, use the * wildcard. For example, to search for users in the netskope.com domain, enter *netskope.com.

  • User Type: Find users based on whether they are a bot (enterprise only), internal, or external.

  • Has DLP Violations: Find users based on a DLP violation.

Based on the filter used, a list of users is displayed in the users table. To view complete details about the user, click on an item to open the user details summary.

The users page also allows you to export the contents of the users table. Click EXPORT to download a spreadsheet file.
