Legal Hold Profile
Legal Hold is a process that an organization uses to preserve all forms of relevant information when litigation is reasonably anticipated. A Legal Hold profile is used for specifying where the files need to be held for legal purposes when action of Legal Hold is taken.
To create a legal hold profile:
Go to Policies > PROFILES > Legal Hold > NEW LEGAL HOLD PROFILE.
Choose the app where you want the files to be uploaded for legal hold purposes. Today we support legal hold folders to be created on:
Box
Google Drive
Microsoft Office 365 OneDrive
Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Sites
Salesforce
Slack for Enterprise
Choose the instance of the app previously created under Settings > API Data Protection.
(SharePoint app only) Select the SharePoint site to store the legal hold file.
Enter the email address of the custodian of the legal hold folder.
Note
Before setting up a legal hold profile for Office 365 OneDrive/SharePoint apps, the custodian should log into the Office 365 account and set up the OneDrive/SharePoint app.
For Slack for Enterprise app, the email address should be the same as that you entered during the Slack for Enterprise instance setup.
Choose the list of administrators to be notified when a file is uploaded to legal hold folder.
Click NEXT.
Enter a legal hold profile name and click CREATE LEGAL HOLD PROFILE.
